About the Opportunity

We are on the lookout for Customer Onboarding Specialists who will work proactively with prospective Flippa Sellers to guide them through our listing onboarding process, suggest creative ways to improve engagement on their listing and be a reliable and helpful point of contact during the pre-listing stages.

This position will report to the Head of Sales based at our office in Austin, Texas.

As a Customer Success Specialist at Flippa, you will get to -  

  • Assist with onboarding new Flippa users ensuring that business owners have a point of contact to assist with building their listings. 
  • Work cross-functionally with the Sale Development team as a support point for listings throughout the sales process.
  • Continually improve the onboarding and implementation process through experimentation and expertise.
  • Deliver exceptional service, troubleshoot issues that arise, and ensure every customer is satisfied with the handling of questions/issues during their onboarding experience.
  • Being the Voice of Customer for our new small business owners to the product team to ensure Flippa continues to evolve as a platform in a way that aligns with the goals of our customers - which is to sell their business
  • Grow the adoption rate of Flippa by communicating ‘How Flippa Works’ to new potential customers

What you bring to the table - 

  • 1-3 years of customer onboarding (or similar) experience.
  • Previous experience in marketplace environments, fast growth tech businesses and/or digital real estate will be considered an advantage
  • Direct knowledge of the small business digital ecosystem will be advantageous.
  • Desire to roll the sleeves up and get involved as required
  • Flexibility and comfort with ambiguity (We're a successful startup that will continue to grow and innovate aggressively.)
  • A strong work ethic
  • Have a positive attitude and desire to “go the extra mile” to achieve great things for Flippa.
  • An ability to build personal relationships over-the-phone and in-person
