What we need

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Sales who will be based at our head office in Melbourne, Australia. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Flippa Leadership Team and will lead sales teams in Melbourne and in Manila, Philippines.

What you’ll be doing

Leading our sales team to:

  • Recruit new independent brokers to operate on the platform
  • Grow brokered sales (volume and value) 
  • Grow assisted marketplace sales (volume and value)
  • Recruiting, onboarding, developing and managing high-performing salespeople
  • Representing Flippa in the market, for example by attending and speaking at conferences
  • Driving the business forward strategically and tactically as part of the Leadership Team

What we’re looking for

  • Extensive experience in business development, account management and inside sales, including leading teams in those areas
  • Exceptional communication & listening skills, including ability to build great relationships
  • Ability to hire, retain and develop ‘A’ players
  • Ability to identify an opportunity and make it happen without being told what to do
  • Ability to move easily between getting stuff done day to day and stepping back and thinking strategically about the business
  • Obsessively focused on customers and customer outcomes
  • A learning mindset
